The Cotswold Falconry Centre is located in Batsford Park\, next door to the Batsford Arboretum\, about 1 mile from Moreton-in-Marsh. The centre offers visitors the chance to see a variety of birds of prey\, including falcons\, hawks\, eagles\, owls\, vultures\, caracara\, kites\, and secretary birds\, at much closer quarters than would be possible in the wild. You may also get to hold one of the birds during the regular daily flying displays. The centre now has 60 species\, of which 29 have bred since the centre opened in 1988. A few species may be off show at any given time for breeding or moulting.
The Owl Wood Project\, opened in 2005\, features a number of aviaries in a natural woodland setting\, and houses a selection of British and other owl species. It is also equipped with CCTV and infra-red cameras for viewing the secretive comings and goings to a variety of owl nest sites.

Timetable for the day\:
10.30 to 11.00 will be tea\, biscuits and registration.
11.00 to 12.00 First session\: general skills - depending on numbers may be split in to two groups. This will look at effective communication\, assertiveness and team work.
1200 to 1215 Break
12.15 to 13.15 get into groups - this will be related to positions on group and area commitee.
13.15 to 13.30 feedback and what groups would like training fro in future events.
By car - up Ilford Lane from Ilford\: turn right half way up in to St Lukes Avenue\, turn right into Lowbrook Road and follow into Baxter Road.
By car from Barking\: the same except turn in left off of Ilford lane. From Ilford station or Barking station an ELT bus will bring you up Ilford Lane - get off bus just past Japanese Motors and walk up St Lukes Avenue into Lowbrook Road and follow into Baxter Road.
