Messing About On The River!

What better way to escape the rat race and have a leisurely break on a narrowboat. We've booked 2 barges (1 sleeps 12 but we're only filling it with 10, and the other sleeps 8 and only being filled with 6 persons so not to make things feel too cramped with people you may not know too well).

We plan a week on the canals taking in the glorious English countryside through Cheshire. There will be plenty of stops on the way and Bunbury just has so much to offer.

Cost per person for the week is £145 although you will need to pay for your transport to Bunbury Boatyard and home (car sharing may be possible) as well as food and drink.

This kind of English holiday is very enjoyable and once you have been once you will be itching to go again.

16 members (from Thatcham, Reading and Andover) are already booked in and there are just 3 spaces left on the 10 (12) sleeper narrowboat. Grab yours now!!!

The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway and North Thoresby Village invite you to step back in time and experience the 1940s. Take the train to North Thoresby and travel by vintages buses to the village where various re-enactment groups will provide a fascinating look back to the 1940s. See displays, vehicles, carfts and sample war-time food! Dress in the 1940's and be part of the scene. A great day out.

The Pink Berets
