More About Plus Events

For an oversight of all our events, please use our searchable Events Calendar which can be found at the Plus Events menu item above. There is also a explanation of how to use the events calendar.

Plus organises many different events, enough to fill your diary for months to come!

Every event is organised by our own members, be it on a small, medium or large (Group, Area, National) scale.

Take a look at the events calendar - dates in bold will have events linked to them and if you click on Events Calendar in the main navigation you can do a search.

Plus National scale Events

On the Plus web-site you can now see a listing of our Big National Events (under Plus Events - About Our Events).

These range from weekends away like WASH, Brean and SADY to week long events (like the National Skiing Holiday). And not to forget our Annual National Competitions!

Plus Area Events

Many Parties are held in the Plus Areas with many members attending, themes include; St Valentine's, Summer Ball, Halloween, Christmas and more.

Some members even travel outside their Area for a Party.

Plus allows you to obtain discounts to certain Parties, Discos and other Plus entertainment including Area, and National scale Plus events where there is an early booking price reduction.

Also the Plus Areas organise their Area Competitions and other big events for example;

The East Anglia Area organises their own Area Quiz and Party.

The Midland Area organises a Party after every Area Conference.

The North Thames & Chilterns Area organises a trip to the Strawberry Fair!

The Northern Area organises NEAT - a weekend away with hotel stay and party.

The Southern Area organises a Centre Parcs Weekend and an annual beach barbecue.

Plus Group Events

Club events range from cinema to karting, meals out to clubbing, rambles to (indoor) sky diving and anything in between.

Plus members often visit and enjoy night clubs, they also enjoy plenty of sociable evenings and drinking at well-known pubs and wine bars.

Plus Groups often attends the theatre, shows and concerts and even a pantomime.

Plus understands that for many people, taking the initial step of joining a group of people you have never met before can seem a little daunting. That is why each Plus Group organises regular Club Nights to welcome and introduce new members to the Club in relaxed surroundings.

Plus is a friendly organisation! Do come to our regular Club Nights as often as possible after you join, and you will soon find yourself easily making new friends.

Once you are a member you may visit any Plus Group in your Area or the whole Country, and join in their activities and events.

You will meet and make friends with people of your own age and interests, and enjoy a range of exciting and varied activities run in a friendly social atmosphere.
