The Red LionThe Red LionSheffield Plus Group meets every Monday from 8:30 p.m. at The Red Lion 109 Charles Street, Sheffield.

If you are between the ages of 18 and 36 and would like to meet new friends, please
come along and see what you think.

Meetings are weekly at the Red Lion near Hallam University and no membership is required until you have been for four weeks.
It then costs £26 per year and £1 per week.

This is a great social group which is nationwide - an opportunity to join in local, area and national activities with the Sheffield Plus Group.

Event Program
At the start of every two months the Sheffield Plus Group meets to decide the program for next two months. The person who hosts the event decides what the event is for the evening.

Events are divided into weeknight events on Monday nights and weekend events over the weekend. (See below)

Northern Area Plus New Members Night (Sheffield)

PLUS is a national organisation dedicated to providing social opportunities through areas and groups throughout England. This event focusses on the Northern Area.

Come along to the Northern Area New Members Night to learn about the Northern Area of PLUS. You will have an opportunity to meet new friends and find out about events that you will be able to join. You will also find out about how PLUS is managed at group, area and national levels.

Let World Cup Fever Take Over!!!!

Our annual 5-a-side football competition is open to all members across the UK.

So, if you fancy a bit of exercise and maybe a bit of silverware, get your trainers on, make up a team or join up with another one to take part. Do not worry if your group cannot find 5 people to make a team, just contact me to let us know you want to play and we will sot you into a team. Any team can have up to 2 subs, but cannot play for more than one team. Food in a restaurant nearby afterwards.

Time to descend once again on the quiet village in Norfolk that is Tottenhill to pitch tents and take up residence in the playing field/village hall for the weekend!

Come and join us for the weekend, or just for the Saturday night BBQ/Disco. Also incorporates the National Rounders competition on the Saturday afternoon. "Beers of Europe" beer warehouse is just a few minutes away, as is the beautiful Norfolk countryside for you to visit if that is your thing.

We were a bit nervous at the start of the day as to who exactly would be attending the competition, but on arrival at Rivermead Leisure Centre I was pleased to see two teams ready and raring to go. Once settled some more players arrived wanting to play.
