"As this is a reunion, and a time to look back at the fun we've had over the last 24 years of WASH, I am trying to put together a "WASH Memories" board, with photos, and written memories. If anyone has anything they could contribute I would be grateful, either email me, or bring stuff during the event - I (hopefully) will have scanning capabilities if anyone has original photos they don't want to part with. This is something I can't do without help because obviously I am far to young to have photos of some of the earlier events!
Oh, and just a warning - if I don't get any contributions, I do have photos of "Adam and Eve", and I'm not afraid to use them......lol! !
Looking forward to it - not long to go now - see you there.

We would like to invite you all to the NATIONAL PAINTBALL 2008, which is taking place on Saturday 26th July in Abridge, Essex.
The site - Mayhem Paintball - is one of the largest and most popular paintball sites in the country, and is close to both the M11 and M25. For those coming by public transport, Mayhem runs a free mini-bus for participants between the site and THEYDON BOIS tube station (Central Line).
The event starts 9.15 for 9.45am, and is expected to continue until 4pm. There will be at least 8 games. Participants will be supplied with overalls + safety mask, gun, gas and first 600 pellets. In addition, female participants will be supplied with chest & back protectors.
The same evening we will be holding a disco from 8pm - 12 midnight at THE CHERRY TREE Pub, with music provided by DJ MARK HAWKINS.
The cost for the whole day is £45 per person (members only). The Disco on its own is £5 per person, or FREE to those who have already paid for the Paintball.
Owing to the fact that the site asks for bookings in advance, we will be requiring full balances by SATURDAY 5TH JULY (we will be at the National Treasure Hunt that day to collect bookings in person!).

Theme of the weekend is MURDER!
3 Nights of Fun and Frolics, so book early, book NOW!
Brean there.....done that....
Well what can I say - had simply the best time at Brean again this year. Why am I so late writing this? because I've only just been woken up by the phone from a deep sleep - well deserved I think as I only just get my 8 hours sleep over the weekend (and thats over the whole weekend, not one night!!)
Distinct lack of caravan party on Saturday night, but we improvised, although sitting drinking tea is a touch more civilised than I am
used to.....!!!
Thought the murder mystery was excellent - although slightly nerve-racking for me! The script called for me to be holding a glass of
whisky which I usually don't drink, but it seemed to evaporate faster than it should under those stage lights!!!
Best/most memorable bits? Finally seeing people I haven't seen for sooooo long, singing at the caravan parties on Friday and Sunday (probably badly), murder mystery, Bishops Stortford's club's hospitality to a late-booker, cooking chilli for everyone on Friday night, crispy pizza on Saturday night! Someone, who shall remain nameless, managing to (accidentally apparently) pour baileys down the back of my skirt on Sunday night - and I still can't quite believe you actually finished drinking the bottle with breakfast on Monday - shame on you!
And to think, I nearly didn't go this year.....won' t make that mistake again!
