on WASH 2011 Hi all My God, that was some weekend! Thank you so much for all those who turned up. Hope the Committee didn't disgrace itself too much when we found out that Pat was retiring. We see Plus as one big family and he is very much part of it for past 8 years. For those who weren't able to make it this is what you missed;

Saturday Elrich McElroy entertained us with his American take on life in general. Despite being American he ordered fish and chips at the bar! Dr & The Medics returned after 7 years and many requests to do so from you out there and were just as good as before. They did their own take on many classic rock songs and kept the dance floor nice and busy.
Sunday Quizgo is a concept based on bingo, blockbusters and a traditional quiz. Lots of prizes were given out and there was lots of 'walks of shame', particularly from Mr Brentwood 1945, Chris Porter! Fully Functional were seen by many who remained on the Sunday evening, as the stars of the weekend, dancing and singing on tables harks back to earlier years of WASH. We have been asked by so many people to see if they could come back on the Saturday night that we may break our rules about such things and give more of you the opportunity to see how brilliant they were. In a couple of weeks we will be emailing out a little questionnaire to see what you thought. Please take a few minutes to tell us what you honestly thought of the weekend. If you didn't attend this year for whatever reason let us know what will convince you to come and join us again as it is YOUR weekend. Paul Cattewell |

It is quite possible to overlook that WASH is an ideal
opportunity for you to have a relaxing Autumn break in the company of
friends in the popular Norfolk countryside at a much reduced price than
you would expect to pay at Centre PARCs or other similar centres (Four
sharing at Centre Parcs Thetford in similar standard accommodation over
the same weekend would be £112 each).
The Norfolk coastline gives the more energetic a chance for spectacular walking and the area is steeped in traditional Country Pubs. Within 15 minute of Searles is Royal Sandringham, with over 1000 acres of woodland to explore. If retail therapy floats your boat, then the City of Norwich is less than an hour away and has recently opened a new shopping centre which has been described as one of the best in the UK. As we have said, we believe the party atmosphere at WASH is second to none, but if a relaxing stress free break in the company of friends is what you fancy then WASH has the answers. Keith Israel |
